5 Holiday-Approved Workouts You Can Do With No Equipment

When it comes to being at your best over the holidays, moving your body is key. Exercise stimulates those feel-good endorphins, boosting our mood and helping us respond more calmly to tense or chaotic situations. While you certainly don’t need to stress over sticking to your regular workout schedule while you are celebrating with loved ones, getting in a few minutes of feel-good movement between all the festivities will definitely pay off. Plus, squeezing in a quick workout or two during your holiday plans can make transitioning back into your regular fitness routine easier.

That’s why we rounded up five of our favorite on-the-go workouts for you! You can do all of the following without any equipment in 10 minutes or less wherever you find yourself.

Pro Tip: If you are traveling this holiday season, familiarizing yourself with the moves for each workout before you head off on your trip can help you feel more motivated to follow-through on your commitment to actually workout when the time comes. Similar to creative visualization, it is a way to “prime” your brain for the experience and eliminate any resistance you might feel.
